Jess has become a pivotal part of WightTricks over the past two years, bringing a thoughtful, highly observant approach to coaching and a genuine eye for the craft.
One of her greatest strengths is her ability to notice the details that are easy to miss - the small changes in position, timing, confidence and technique that often make the biggest difference to a student's progression. Her coaching is conscious and intentional, with excellent spotting technique and a strong understanding of how to make athletes feel both safe and capable.
Jess particularly excels at developing beginners, giving students the foundations, confidence and technical understanding they need to progress into strong intermediate athletes. She has a calm way of making difficult skills feel achievable without ever losing sight of quality.
Beyond her individual coaching, Jess has become an important part of the culture and consistency of WightTricks. Her work behind the scenes and on the floor has contributed enormously to the academy's progress and achievements over the past year.
Thoughtful, dependable and technically sharp, she's become an invaluable part of the team.
